Today’s episode is about three idioms containing the word “spot”
The word spot has several meanings, and one of them is “place”.
All of the following idioms are connected with this meaning in one way or another.
- The first idiom is “on the spot”.
On the spot means at that very moment or at that very place

2. The second idiom is to put someone on the spot. If you put someone on the spot, you make them answer a difficult question or make a decision very quickly, and by doing so you make them feel embarrassed.

3. The last idiom is “be rooted to the spot”
Be rooted to the spot is to be unable to move.

And now choose an idiom you like most and write your own sentence with it.
